Long Term Care Planning and Will Writing Seminar

We are hosting an exciting seminar on Long Term Care Planning and Will Writing. Our key note speakers are Brian Fisher Long term Care Marketing Manager from Friends Life Insurance and Paul Martin Professional Will writer.

The event will be hosted at our office at 108 Marmion Road, Portsmouth on Thursday 4th May beginning at 10:30 with tea and coffee, finishing at 1:00pm with a light lunch.

Brian Fisher

Brian Fisher is AXA Lifetime Care’s LTC Marketing Manager. Lifetime Care, formerly part of the PPP Healthcare Group, became part of The AXA Global Group of Companies in 1999 and is a major provider in the Immediate Needs Long Term Care market. Brian has worked in the Financial Services Industry for many years but the experience of his own grandmother developing Alzheimer’s and requiring care, turned his attention towards the Long Term Care market and he joined Lifetime Care in 1993. After spending 4 years with their Direct Sales operation, Brian moved into a Business Development role where he was able to share his LTC Sales experience with Independent Financial Advisers and their fellow professionals. Currently Brian is responsible for all outwardly facing aspects of LTC marketing for Lifetime Care. He has written numerous articles for various publications on the many aspects of Care Fees Planning and still provides training and seminar support for Advisers and professionals keen to develop this growing market. He currently sits on the Association of British Insurers Long Term Care Working Party and is an Advisory Board member of the Society of Later Life Advisers.

 

Paul Martin


Paul Martin joined Allied Dunbar in 1987 giving financial advice on investments and Inheritance Tax planning. He then progressed through Rothschild’s Assurance and St James’ Place Wealth Management. In 2002 he embraced Will Writing in conjunction with wealth management advice. Paul became more and more aware of the need for holistic planning to protect family estates with the use of Lasting Powers of Attorney, Wills, various Trusts and advanced decisions to ensure a fully comprehensive defence against potential and costly mistakes, both financial and personal. Paul believes that the challenges faced by families today are more complex than ever and need individual development to ensure assets pass on as intended. Paul is a spokesman for Dignity in Dying on the Isle of Wight. Previously, Paul has been a Farm Manager for a sporting estate in Wiltshire, has sailed in the BT Global Challenge and has been to Everest Base Camp.
